How to Check PF Balance with Mobile Number


You may check your PF balance with your mobile number by giving a missed call. It is important to check PF balance periodically that exactly how much you have succeeded to save in your account.The EPFO Employee Provident Fund Organization announced diverse modes to check PF balance with EPF Passbook and with EPF mobile App.
If you have registered mobile number and official UAN figure than you may give missed call on this number 011- 229 01 406 through your registered mobile to get your information related PF balance.  This facility is absolutely free but only for UAN member.

Procedures to Know PF Balance through MEPF App

If you want to use EPF mobile App to check your PF status you require accomplishing some conditions. There are some requirements you should know:
-          You must need UAN and it should be activated
-          Registered mobile number at UAN portal
-          Use the same number that you registered at UAN
-          You should ensure that UAN  have connected with Aadhar number/Bank Account/ Pan Card

Check PF Balance By Missed Call Service

Just call the number 011- 229 01 406 by using your registered mobile number.
You will receive SMS from the number informing your EPF balance amount. Make sure your UAN activated before you give a missed call on this number.
Ensure that you have the same number that you registered to UAN and not change the number.
In case you change your mobile number that not registered yet, you need to change or update the number at UAN portal.
When you give a missed call to that number Employee Provident Fund Organization will send you SMS from AM – EPFOHO as a response to your missed call. The SMS encloses the details of PF includes Name, Date of Birth, PF Number, UAN ID, Last Contribution and PF Balance.
You can also check provident fund balance online at the UAN portal or EPFO member portal.
